Learn what to expect on your first visit to our clinic
When you visit Advanced Imaging San Marcos (AISM), every effort will be made to ensure that your imaging experience is positive, prompt, and efficient.
What should I bring?
When you arrive at our clinic, you will be required to present orders from your referring physician's office, your drivers' license or personal identification card, and your insurance information.
How do I find out whether I need films or a CD?
Will I be required to make a payment at my appointment?
AISM contacts your referring physician's office to obtain the requisite insurance authorization prior to your scheduled appointment. A payment may be due at the time of your service.

Your referring doctor may require that you leave our clinic with films or a CD of your imaging results. Prior to your appointment, please contact your referring physician and discuss his or her policy.
Will you remind me of my appointment time?
You will receive a courtesy reminder phone call one day prior to your appointment date. At this time, we will also inform you of any preparatory instructions.

Do you accept my insurance?
AISM works with most major insurance companies. You can view a list of the companies whose coverage we accept here. If you company is not on the list, please contact us for more information.
